these 6 are the ones that better show the cracks with some having lamination issues.

Nice, Nice coins there. I just found my first cracked skull a couple of weeks ago, and no where near the condition of yours - congrats on such a great find.

Cool skull cracks, but too bad the cracks don't extend to the rim
4th pic is different crack?

thanks Halo1st and CoinCents. Tunnioc , I think that 4th picture is from same die break but on a earlier stage, I can see a crack on the face just as on the other coins. The roll also had like 15 other coins of the same die breal but none as big as the ones posted.

I think all show the progression. The crack that runs through the cheek as well seems to be present on all. Thanks, Doug.

I have no clue on the market value of these ... are they sought out in any way?

Interesting indeed.

Check to see if the mint mark is in the same location. If they are, then they from the same die showing a progression of die breakdown.

In your last set of pics it looks to me like 2,3,5,and 6 are from the same die. On 1 the mintmark is in different location. 4 doesn't look as tilted as the others do.

2-6 are all from the same die. Looks like a different polishing on #4, but note the reduction on the 1 in the date. 2-6 all have that. So slightly different die state on #4.

Hey,URUMAN... I'm late to this party. & What a small world... I just did the exact same thing; searched through unopened roll I've had since the 60s... All 1959d.... 9 of them have identical features.

Tunnioc, why is it too bad the crack isn't to the rim. I'm curious as I new to this. Thanks
