Picked Up This 1946-S/D Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC , Grade, Cleaned, Authenticate?

Is this the right type of mint mark for this coin, position, etc. Also. what grade would you give it? Is it cleaned in your opinion or just well worn? and lastly authentic? It did look to be s/d but I am no expert and figured being that it seems to be a rare over mint mark I would pick it up for a few bucks. Wish I could get better pictures. Looks like the outside edge of the mint mark is damaged. Maybe a better angle of the shot to show the interior of the mint mark? Report this Post to the Staff

One of the reason I did get this pretty harshly cleaned coin is the location did seem close and I felt the mint mark looked close too. We will see, thanks for all the help so far. Great John! He now has 84 dies listed on his site for this year. So you might check other unknown RPM numbers with his site after he completes them. Report this Post to the Staff
