I know , I know - enough with the Buffaloes ! Well, OK, I'll try to make this the last one for awhile Finished every last loose Buffalo nickel that came into the shop before today Not much in the last batch...but just before I finished the last couple hundred, I saw this coin. When I first saw it , my immediate thought was Machine Doubling since it looked so flat....glad I looked harder ! The C in CENTS was what I first focused on, you'll see it in the pic, but remember that I wasn't looking under the scope at first. It is a pretty worn coin , it might grade G-4 but the date is weak (suprise ). Cherry Pickers lists it at $800 dollars in XF...so I figure in the neighborhood of 100 bucks or so for this one. Made for a nice last find in the Nickel bags.
