The title and description fail to mention the huge missing piece of this coin.

I am not an error expert, but do you think it left the mint this way? But, if not, who would maim a 1922"-P".? It appears this coin had some die rotation.

There is an old thread questioning a 1922 clip, but there was no photo and no mention of the seller name.

Tooling marks adjacent to the "clip" plus lack of metal flow on the devices equals an altered coin.

Normally there is weakness in the devices close's to the clip. I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole. If it was a real 1922 no MM They ruined it.
