Besides the proof, I purchased this Seated Liberty as well. Grading by the community would be appreciated.

EF-45 details, cleaned with a couple heavy marks on the Liberty Cap. Still a great type coin.

I'll go ef40 due to the strong LIBERTY. It has certainly been cleaned.

I love the Seated Liberty coins. On the reverse do you have any idea what happened at the top of the A in America, that is an oddly shaped mark and did some damage to the letter and the denticals it appears.

Agree with EF-40 details. Cleaned, but almost all of them are. Weird little hits on the cap but nothing that could really be called distracting - especially on such a small coin.

Nice coin

But have to agree

XF details - old cleaning and the hit at the cap would bother me

looks like Cud. I've seen it before.

As for this coin; very porous and soft looking surfaces. Overly cleaned and not worth the price of admission.

Thank you ds. Looking at it now I can see that. When I first looked at that I am not sure what my eyes were telling me...I couldn't stop focusing on the you shaped outline.
