G'day,
"Kwan-Tung Province" is the spelling in the old, Wade-Giles System. It was earlier known as Canton.
In the new system, Pinyin, the province is known as Guang Dong. Its capital is Guang Zhou.
Famous for seafood, and forged coins.

The candareen is a Chinese unit of weight. "7.2 candareens" is the weight of a 10 cents. Unfortunately, Kwangtung imperial 10¢ weren't dated, so all we can say is "somewhere between 1890 and 1908". Listed in Krause under the name of the province, KM/Y# 200.
