1970 Lincoln Cent..damage Outside The Mint..but Not So Sure?

Altered by placing the coin between two others and placed between to boards and hit with a large hammer. It may have been done several times. Spendable. Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 10/26/2016 11:58 am Not an expert in this area, but I recall hearing that circular and arch shapes are structurally very sound which is why water pipes are round and not square. They can take a beating and retain their shape. Also, the devices are raised and maybe the overall height of the 0 was reduced, it just isn't easily seen. Report this Post to the Staff
