I've never graded an Ike before, but I need to start somewhere.

I'll say MS66....see how close I am.

That gauge in his forward looks like it hurt! There is another it appears over the eye near the eyebrow. from the photo to me there appears to be wear on the cheek. I would give it AU55. In hand though might be a different story.

It might make MS-64, but I will go a little lower and say MS-63.

Very good pictures. So good almost miss seeing the hits on this coin.

MS 64 would be highest ... more likely MS 63

wow I was way off. I take it Ike are graded more strict than Morgans?

Yeah, that gouge is pretty harsh, but it couldn't grade AU55 because this one was cut from an uncirculated mint set.

I also think MS64 is in order. However, without that nasty hit it would do MS65 for sure. Thanks guys. I've got more coming. . . .

A MS-65 all day without that hit to the head. It almost blends in with the hair. A hit like that in the field would bring it lower, so MS-64 is probably a good bet.
