Does anyone know why this coin is not displayed on the RCM website?
I haven't heard anything about it in this forum either. I saw it listed in a RCM pamphlet I received a few days ago.

Yes this is somewhat odd. It wasn't included in the advance notice e-mails either.

The coin is meant to commemorate Roberta Bondar's space mission which is 25 years in January so there is a little time. I'd expect that there is some sort of ceremony/unveiling planned in the next few days or weeks and then the coin will be on the website.

Coins like this often don't have advance notice for MC. They go straight to public release on the day of the unveiling. Determine Dr. Bondar's appearance schedule and you will know when the coin will be on sale from the Mint.

I see it today, 158306 is the product number. I hate the idea of paying $160 for an ounce of silver, but I am a space geek, so they might sucker me... Time will tell...

Agree, we already got usual to pay CAD 100, or CAD 150 max, but the price of CAD 160 it already too much.

Yes, they're really pushing it $160 aren't they?

I see RCM as slowly boiling a frog...this one's jumping out before the water gets too hot.
