Those are contact marks from other quarters. Note how the lines are deeper on the rims? That is because a coin was laid on the coin then then hit with something leaving an incuse mark. There looks like there are two, so the what ever was done the first time was repeated telling me this was deliberate. PSD Welcome to the forum.
