I came across some that old a few months ago, believe 1918 and 1919 wheat.

Cool find. I love the older wheaties. The ones I find are mostly 40s and 50s. Its a great treat to find one that is pre 20s. Nevermind two!

Yeah the 1918 is very hard to tell on, I could barley tell the year

Thank you it was a surprise to me I found like 9 wheat pennies that day in one roll I opened at work for my register. Thought finding that many in one was odd.

There's a thread here about the brother dumping half of Grandpa's Wheat cent collection into a store at face value. Sadly, that's one of the ways these things get into circulation.
