As many of you know I have been upgrading my 12 Caesars in silver collection. I am trying for all in VF or better. This makes 8/12. The other 4 are below VF but are still very nice IMHO. Until recently I only had a quinarius for Augustus. Well I have just added a nice denarius to the set. I have been wanting one of these for about a year but did not find the 'right' one until now. The flan is a little odd but the Capricorn is nice. I also really like the denarii of Augustus with the anepigraphic obverses very much so this one filled that need as well.

Very nice coin, looks like a counter mark under the tail.

That sure makes reading the inscription a breeze.

Great coin by the way.

Nice pickup. Thanks for expanding my vocabulary by 1 word.

anepigraphic

Not sure how often I'll use it though.
