Been nibbling at this type on
ebay for a while, and the stars aligned this day to let me win on a lowball bid:
Kidarites Huns in Kashmir
Vinayaditya c. 450-500 AD
Debased AV dinar (usually rose gold or electrum of 30-50% fineness)
Obv: "Formalized" portrait of king (the big thick shape in the middle, note the large nose, thick lips, eye, and dots representing hair) sacrificing at fire altar (cluster of dots left), Brahmi legend (and tamgha?) at right: KiDaRa Jaya
Rev: Ardoxsho/Lakshmi standing, legend Sri Vinaya Ditya

Won it for a hair under $60 shipped, about half the typical sale price for the type!
