High AU or so. You are better off buying from a different seller.

Agreed, avoid that seller. It will likely end at an MS price or very close. This seller is known to juice their photos and shill their auctions. One of the worst on ebay.

That explains why their stuff always sells for way more than I ever imagined..
BTW the coin doesn't look Gem BU++ or Gem BU+ or Gem BU or even BU...
Maybe Unc? And that's a big maybe..

they're selling a problem coin with good pics. Buyer be educated. Should we fault every seller on the bay taking photos of problem coins? This coin has original surfaces and a mark on the obverse which will cause it to down grade. But if you're a collector who does not mind certain problems to get original circulated silver in AU than its a win at the less-than-problem-free FMV it would have sold for. But oh my It's GSC

to boot A-4 F-104 Quote: Comments: Ahwash does not provide a set of obverse and reverse photographs for this variety. He describes a series of obverse die cracks that join the bottom of the date digits, and that join the tops of UNITED. Another die crack is seen from STATE(S) though head, cap and tops of the letters AMERICA. Not such a bad coin after all.

I'm going mid AU...like AU55
however, I agree with the others in that I would not purchase from this seller. they have very good photographers that know how to manipulate the coins to look way better than they are and can hide defects

No sense of luster or original surfaces at all. A dead stick.

I have never bought from this dealer, but I do hear negatives about the seller often.

I've never had a bad experience but than again, I did not buy from GSC until I was confident in MY ability to judge what I was looking at. Here is an example of a calculated GSC purchase that make me believe that while they're picture taking skills are making the coin look as best as possible, they're leaving it up to the buyer to be somewhat experienced at buying raw coins: GSC in-hand
