This is interesting...a buy it now item for one cent and no shipping charge. Now, I don't even know if you can make a PayPal payment for one cent. I was thinking maybe that was the catch, when you go to pay, it says sorry no payments less than $1.00 or something. Maybe this seller is just trying to build up feedback, (which isn't that great, by the way) or will mail you a pricelist, or approvals...

Maybe it's a typo or he hit the wrong button in the selling process? Somethin's fishy.

I think it's some type of scam. Take a look at this auction of his for 2 silver coins.

These are pictures of the same coin with the one lightened up some.

To top it off, the guy's an idiot. Those listings cost 25 cents to list each, so he's going to lose money before he even ships. He is probably hoping to fix his very poor feedback or to build up some feedback so that he can break into the coin/paper money market.

Insurance is required and the amount changes from auction to Auction. Strange thet the insurance is almost equal to the value of the item.

From what I saw, some charge insurance, some don't. I also find it hard to believe that these cheap notes are being shipped from a "warehouse". This guy's a dip and needs to be avoided.

His answer was short and sweet

Yeah, I should have mentioned he has several such listings and also some completed listings. I think it's just a feedback buildup thing. I was thinking of buying one just to see what would happen, but then got a little scared! Maybe be bothered to death with emails for the next 50 yrs. or something.
