kheldim81 Valued Member Finland 265 Posts	Posted 11/05/2016 7:07 pm I might be able to buy few Morgan dollars quite cheap from this one guy. They all seem to have this kind of toning. And since I am new to numismatics my question is: Is there anything odd about this toning or coin itself? And if not how would you grade it? Thank you very much for your answers. GR58 Bedrock of the Community United States 11951 Posts	Posted 11/05/2016 9:55 pm To me it looks like this coin spent time in a flip that had PVC. I am thinking the tone you are seeing is PVC. The coin should spend some time in a acetone bath. Report this Post to the Staff

Can acetone bath remove those and how harmful is it for coin? And most important question should I stay away from these coins?
