very nice coin! Looks AU to me on obverse. Reverse looks closer to xf.

EF sharpness, but lightly corroded given the green color and minor roughness.

This piece has the sort of color that is considered choice.

Thanks for all the replies! Interesting to note how condition and degrees of wear are similar between Canadian and American large cent series!

i'd say a solid XF45 and possible AU50. nice one. there does appear to have a rim hit at 6 o'clock on the obverse which to me is minor and really doesn't detract from the coin.

EF-40, clearly defaced or damaged, don't love the color, but that may be the lighting.
