AU58, might slide to MS. I'm thinking these obverses were either worn dies or weak strikes, not seeing much wear, but no expert here.

AU details, obverse looks like it was damaged many years ago and the old damage is hiding under toning, IMO -- unless you think that somehow the obverse was terribly weakly struck (it has low XF detail at best) and the reverse was almost fully struck (strong AU detail)...the only other thing I can think of is an obverse grease-filled die.
