A Minnesota State Quarter...a curved indent going through the state design..but the "L" in LAND is unaffected..also a slight mark on the rim that seems to line up with that curve...PSD?

Looks more like PSD. You can see where the scratch starts at the rim

The reason the 'L' is not affected is that it is incuse. The damage is not as deep as that device. If it were a struck through I would expect more of the fields to show the incuse line from wire or something that would leave a shape.
