I have not bought one since about 2011 b/c the history and mintages were the only parts I ever saw as the Red Book's value since the prices were never realistic. I know the values have always been off b/c they only put it out once a year and so have to adjust things as to how they think they will go. In addition to websites, there are publications as frequent as weekly that give values. I have found most of the values rise very slowly, so slowly in my opinion that the Red Book serves my purposes. I buy one every year. The average collector uses the Red Book more than any other publication. Report this Post to the Staff

I used to buy them yearly for quite awhile, but the online sources allowed me to save 20.00 a year to fill album. So I have learned to do without it for the last ~4000 years.
