Hello all ....
I found this 1996 quarter the other day .I gave it a good acetone bath and nothing comes of .The coin has a smooth surface ..does not look like it had a acid bath. And it weighs 5.75g...any ideas?

Weight Tolerance for a quarter is 5.67 +/- .227 grams so a quarter within tolerance could weigh as much as 5.897 grams.
