Hi Everyone looking on Trademe.co.nz and I find auction for a Chinese knife coin and it looks a bit funny, fake to me. It's going for NZD$3,500. Here's the the link everyone: http://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-c...0155814.htm.
He's probably does not know a lot about coins of that era and trying to make a quick NZ buck off it. Many people on Trademe who sells coins and who is not a Numismatic Dealer. Sell coins from relatives just to get money for them sell them for a price they just don't know the collector value of them. But I try to help them when it comes to old NZ pre-decimal coins from the 1930s to 1965 too. Here's another link to another ancient Chinese one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/antiques-c...01234872.htm
What I was getting at is that two different (and one new) posters from the same country post different pictures of the exact same coin within a day of each other. I just find it a little suspicious.
