Wow, check out this auction on ebay. I wonder what the reserve is. I wish I had 10 grand sitting around just to see. lol. But, I really can't imagine someone buying these sight unseen. That would be quite a leap of faith. Other then maybe saving some money buying a set like this, I don't think that it would be much fun.

Monday: "I think that I am going to collect Morgan dollars."
Tuesday: "Done! Now what?"

Someone put a lot of time and money into this, and now a pawn shop has it on ebay.

I think they're valuations are a tad on the optimistic side. Sounds like another seller who's clueless on how to grade.

Uh... okay... are these the same ones pictured? Notice that the 1889-CC has an AU-58 "label" next to it!

Not to mention clueless on authenticating, I am 99+% sure that the 1895 is a proof repro with that hideous modern DCAM look

That 1893S looks about EF, along with a lot of the other ones. I'm 99.9% sure that the 1895 is fake; no raw proof from 113 years ago is going to have that much cameo. And really, why have a treasure like the 1895 be raw? If I had one that I thought may be real, I'd ship it to PCGS in a heartbeat. I have my doubts about this set.

That's a pretty poor photo to bite on an '93-S; I don't like the looks of it.

"Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping)."

Now that's odd--talk about reducing your potential buyers!
I can almost imagine the "trade" at a deserted warehouse...

I agree the 95 is definitely a modern fake and one of the ones littered on ebay for 9.99 so not even a good fake

The 95 is a fake and from the look of the 3 I'd say the 93-S is an altered date. I also suspect that most of these "65 - 70" coins are actually lightly circulated, in some cases heavily circulated.
