Wow, Davis, those are great-looking coins. I don't know who on this forum is familiar with colonials. Authentication will probably be a job for an expert (i.e., a grading service).

It might help to take new photos with the coins removed from the 2X2's. It will be easier to see fine detail without the plastic glare. For what it's worth, the Fugio cent looks pretty good to me. It appears well-struck and in high grade and will be worth quite a bit if it's real. A Fugio cent is one of those "I'll get one someday" coins on my list, but I've never owned one.

Fad, I know nothing about them so am of little help there. However, if they are genuine I would get them out of those old 2 x 2s. Some had PVCs in the plastic which could harm the coins and those rusted staples are not helping anything, either. On that note, I am wondering how much humidity is in your area. You might consider added some desiccant in your storage area. And those are beautiful. Keep us psted if you get them authenticated.

The coins are real. And the fugio is fairly nice. I wish mine looked that good. The CT is so so, better pieces are available but so are much worse coins. I is still a coin to be proud of. Unfortunately I do not know enough to be able to attribute it by variety. There are over 350 varieties of CT coppers and a great many of them are R-5 or higher.

Best we can do is guess on the assumption they are genuine:

The Fugio looks like a large letters variety ("WE ARE ONE") and I would give a pretty large value spread, $400-600.

The Connecticut I would estimate $75-100.

Values depend on finding willing buyers, so they could be more or less.
