I have noticed that there are several 'Post a coin' threads on the forum. I searched and did not find a thread for the Sacagawea/Native American dollar. The Eisenhower dollar was the coin that got me back into the hobby many years ago. The Sacagawea dollar is the coin that propelled me into being a serious collector. The 2001-S was my first $100 coin until it crashed, but I still love the "Golden Lady". Show off the best you have or the one that means something special to you. I love the classic design of the original. I am also quite taken by several of the Native American designs. Here is my first of several.

As a Canadian I get a few in change my guess from tourists in the Toronto area, the Sacs looks much better than our loonies

Thank you for sharing Fuzzy317. When the Golden Dollar was being released in 2000 I felt it was my duty as a good citizen to help put them in circulation. I went to my bank and bought a roll with the intention of spending them all. When I got the roll I noticed that the two end coins were toned a nice rainbow of green, purple and brown. The result was I spent 23 of the 25 coins. The colors have faded some over the years and it is hard to get the color to come through in a photo, but here is one of the two I kept.

Great Idea And this thread also reminded me I had not opened my 2016 Coin and Currency set and updated my album with the enhanced uncirculated version. So I snapped a picture..... And put her in the album face up, beside the 2016 proof.... And here is a shot of the back side...

When this design first came out I wasn't really thrilled with it until I saw it in the enhanced finish. It still is my favorite design in the enhanced series with this year coming in a very close second.

My favorite one has to be the 2012 design... This one isn't bad either...
