hi newbie here
i have a 1987 p quarter with partial lettering. don't know if it was from a bad die struck.
It is on "Liberty" and on the reverse side, it's on 'quarter dollar"

to CCF. Looks like damage caused by a coin counter/wrapper machine.

To me it looks more like a struck though error issue (grease). Partial fill on some of the devices in certain areas.

I agree with the looks like Struck Through Grease.

The reverse might be a Greaser but I see scrape marks just before the L in LIBERTY.
