Kamnaskires Pillar of the Community United States 7066 Posts	Posted 11/22/2016 9:53 pm I could be wrong but Pergamon, with Asklepios seated left, seems to me a likely candidate...For a while I was seeing the reverse figure as standing, confusing the seat with a leg. But then I realized a rear leg (knee) is visible behind the front knee...so that hooked shape, lower right, is a seat. KINGS OF PERGAMON. Time of Philetairos - Attalos III (Circa 281-133 BC). Ae. Obv: Helmeted head of Athena right. Rev: Asklepios seated left, feeding snake out of patera. Report this Post to the Staff
