Hello, I happened upon an unusual Lincoln Wheat cent today. The "TRUST" in "IN GOD WE TRUST" is almost completely gone. Is this just natural wear on the coin? Thanks!

Yes, a so-called " Greaser", where grease has filled the (incuse) letters of the die in this area (Trust) so it did not strike up. to the CCF!

A real nice one. Maybe worth a couple of bucks on E-Bay.

Very nice Greaser, might make more than a couple bucks because a lot of a key element is missing

Cool, thanks! I heard a couple of bucks on E-bay. Any idea what the exact premium might be?

Nah, it's a crapshoot. Hardly worth the effort and fees to list. Just set it aside and someday you'll find someone who likes this kind of thing - it is a very nice example of its kind.

Nice whole word Greaser. It's nice, but it's probably not worth your time to list, pay PayPal and ebay, wrap, and ship.

This one has the missing leg on the R also. The broken R was fairly common in 1936.
Nice filled die error!
