Some one asked me to make these I think they turned out pretty well. Initially I polished them but the shine obscured the details so a little liver of sulfur and selective buffing made them pop.

Liver of sulfur is generally used by jewelers to darken silver but it works on just about any metal. Its readily available from any jewelry supply store :-)

"Liver of Sulfur" is also used to artificially retone cleaned copper coins, turning them from pink/bright orange to a dark black color that might be considered more market acceptable.
