100% fake. They didn't even have silver dollars in 1791. Probably from China. Also Carson city mint wasn't established til the late 1800s.

Sorry or say there is no doubt this coin is fake.

I have seen these many times, often they are with a group of other
fake dollars. Also ..many of them will stick to a magnet .. another
way to tell they are fake.

But ... to CCF
Rest in Peace

As mentioned, this is more of a fantasy than a fake, since this isn't copying anything that ever existed.

As the others have said. Definitely a fake. Can we see some pics of the other dollars that came in the lot?

Considering that Carson City did not exist in 1791, much less their mint, I think it's safe to say that this one is fake.

If it is still possible to get your money back you should.
If it isn't, read the forums and with a few inexpensive tools and free advice, you will be unlikely to buy any fakes again.

Welcome to the CCF. Too bad our Original Poster didn't post his pic or at least consult a Red Book before making his purchase.

I've seen sneaky sellers mix in these fakes, seemingly "rare dates," with genuine dollars/coins, typically common dates, so as to better entice prospective buyers with a "deal." Pics of the other items in our OP's lot will help.
