I have seen this talked about but I didn't see any verdicts either way. Is this another 1999 experimental acid coin? Thanks for the feedback.

Zinc Memorial Cents Do Not have, nor have they ever had, a Zinc coating. They have a micro thin copper coating.

Zinc is a shiny white metal that turns black when oxidized.

Copper is a bright red metal that turns brown then green when oxidized.

You are looking at 2 completely normal looking cents.

Though I do not suggest doing this, if youd REALLY like to see what zinc looks like, grab yourself a post 1983 penny and sand it with some sand paper. -=I DO NOT CONDONE THE ACT OF INFLICTING PAIN ON COINS=-
