Hi, new from Idaho! Well I have some news, Hello! I have found two mint error coins, quarters, which looked doubled to me. The first is a 1998 P Washington quarter, in which the "IN GOD WE TRUST" is doubled. Second, is the 2000 P Virginia Washington quarter, in which some of the letters in United States of America are doubled, the "GO" of in god we trust is doubled, on the other side all of Virginia is doubled, all of Jamestown looks to be doubled( some strong doubling on half letters), and finally E PLURIBUS UNUM is completely doubled. I have found these in my bag of change I've had stashed away for some time just a few days ago, I was going to send them in to PCGS, but I wanted your opinion first. I can't seem to find any others online like the ones I have found, please let me know what you think, I appreciate your time everyone! |

First off, to CCF! Second, we will need pictures to be sure (post separate threads in the errors section), but most likely these are Machine Doubling (an artifact of the minting process, which does not add value) vs. hub doubling like the famous 1955 double die. Ok, I will try to get some good pics all I have is my 10x small folding mag, but I downloaded a mag app I'll try that, be back!

It's hard to take pics but I tried one to give you an idea and this is with mag app lighting not good couldn't hold still one pic only for 1998 quarter error, I will get good pics asa soon as I can!
