I have found some interesting coins over the past few years hunting junk silver. I've found a 1908 3 MACE 6 CANDAREENS, an unopened roll of 1979 Susan B Anthony dollars and a 2016 Dime that is not centered. I have a million questions and ample curiosity, hope I'm in the right place. Just looking for some advice and knowledge. Glad to be here and look forward to future conversations.

Howdy! I got into coin collecting by starting off with "junk silver," too, although I hate that expression. How can silver possibly be junk?
Anyway, how the heck did you find a 2016 dime while hunting junk silver? Were you going through rolls? That is a tough way to find silver, and I can't imagine it's worth the amount of time it would take.
That off-center 2016 dime sounds interesting. Why don't you show us a picture?

TRLHighside: to the CCF! I have been searching through dealers' junk boxes in the $2 to $15 range for over 30 years, taking an average of perhaps 50 coins per year. Out of that 'take', I have been able form a rather nice collection of interesting and logical multiple series of coins by country or date. The emphasis has always been on junk silver at below ASW melt in as nice a condition as possible, and for bronze coins more than 50 years old in EF or better. My World collection now numbers well over 2,000 pieces, all chronologically arranged by country, denomination and date, and includes all coins, right back to ancient times.

to CCF. For that unopened roll of SBA's, you can check that for near dates. For that 2016 dime, throw it on the error and variety forum and we'll help you out. Any questions you have, post them and we'll be happy to help. Good luck with your collecting efforts.
