I know it is Ceylon, "octopus man" type. The coin has almost 4.2 grams, but as I cant read the characters, it might as well spell " this is a fake, you fool". Most people think that this type was only struck by Raja Raja Chola but there was a long line of kings and queens that used the same style but with different legends. I Believe this coin is of King Bhuvanaikabahu I 1271-1283. The legend reads: SRI BHU VA NI KA BU HU. Report this Post to the Staff
