I guess a basic question. I've been reholdering coins from old cardboard flips and placing them into 2.5" SAFLIPs. Beyond that, what is a good storage solution for the flips together?

2x2 saflips are probably the better option unless the coins are too big for them.
Grab some PVC free album pages and a PVC free album and away you go

If you live in a particularly humid region of the US, you might want to consider vacuum-sealing:

You can get 12 pocket pages that you can put your flips in and put those in a three ring binder so it's easy to enjoy your collection.

Be careful to limit your first order of pages because the pockets on some of them are just the slightest bit too small for the flips. Once you find a page that you like you can have a blast.
