Thanks for all replies. And the winner is...

You-Vs-ICCS-1946-Dollar

Pacificoin got the actual grade. Apitrix, you were oh so close right out of the gate, but no Cameo. Sorry my photos were deceptive. No DHP. Everybody got the SWL. Only Bill got the die clash.

Pacificoin, I picked this up in August 2004 so it's not "recently graded". Does the "TT 353" tell us when it was graded? Yes it's pretty flecky in the fields. ha.com has many 62/63 examples, some ICCS, that are a lot more beat up than this one, but as usual, grading is in the eye of the (be)holder.

Die clash highlighted:

coinsandcanada shows nearly the same clash for 1946, 47, 50, 51 and 52. Mine also shows the same clash inside the ear as this 1952 http://goccf.com/t/228046&SearchTerms=1946 which seems like is from the top island line.
Thanks everybody!

I didn't even know SWL or die clash existed for this when I bought it - I just wanted a 46. Didn't discover it until years later.
ha.com sold one that has both, so it's probably not uncommon (NGC MS63): https://coins.ha.com/itm/canada/wor...bnail-071515
I wasn't aware of Cameo either until this thread (thanks Apitrix!); Heritage sold one (ICCS MS63): https://coins.ha.com/itm/canada/wor...bnail-071515

Nice coin . TT series for ICCS probably around 2000- 2002 ? I have a 1951 and 1952 PL Silver Dollar with this TT prefix acquired in 2002 in a grade.
Show us a closer look at that die break , looks really interesting. Cheers.

Pacificoin, if you're talking about the die clash in the ear, below is the best I can do. @abderrahim has better pictures of it on a 1952 here http://goccf.com/t/228046.

Charlton calls the reverse a "die break", and shows it for the 1950 and 1951. But it calls the 1948 "hearing aid" a "die clash". So I'm not sure what the correct terminology is. I always thought die break and die crack were the same, and die clash is something different.

Maybe I'm the first to see the ear die clash on a 1946?

Actually the reverse spearlike effect over the head of the Native Voyageur . Would like to see a closeup of that.

This is zoomed from an older photo but probably the best I'd be able to do anyway. Pretty similar to the rest of them - die clash of George's forehead coming out of the native's head, and blob of metal behind native's head from George's eye. I can try other angles/lighting if there's something specific you're interested in.
