Everything I've done on CCF has been with my phone, including photography, and while I find the Image Resizer pleasant to use, I'm wondering what I could adjust my camera's resolution to to get me much more in the 300kb file size range and avoid the extra steps. I'm using an LG G3 with a third party camera app that allows adjustment from 12.98MP all the way down 0.03MP. Any quick ideas?

not sure about your phone or software, but if all else fails you could always use a third party host, like photobucket, and link the full sized images.

In the camera settings is usually an option to choose a photo resolution. These are typically done with knowledge of the image sensor size and cause less resampling.

I.e. if you size an image from 3000 to 1500, that's combining 2 pixels into 1 via averaging. If you go to 1000 that's 3-->1. But if you go to say 640, then it involves taking the average of 4.7 pixels.
