you could call this the coin of many colors. looks like it has xf details to me. If it were a nice brown color with this much detail it would be $75 or more, 13.50 seemed ok even with its problems. Think I can sell it for more. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1842-Braide...047675.l2557

It sold for $16.00 with postage. Then you need to list it, photograph it, possibly answer questions, wrap it, take it to the PO, hope the buyer likes it, and hopefully leave feedback for it. Plus pay ebay and PayPal fees. Even if it sold for $25, I wouldn't consider that small profit that was left as being worth my time. Maybe you would, and if so, I hope you do well with the resale. But you should keep in mind that when you win a lot it means you were interested in paying more than anyone else that saw the coin.

I sell them locally Moxking so no fees involved. I am pretty sure I can get 20 to 25 dollars for it. Not a killing but if its 6 to 9 dollars that is a pretty good return on $16 investment. Also adds to the ebucks and credit card rewards totals. Most of the coins I post I do not keep for my collection so the money I make on lots of so-so coins I try to buy for bargains goes to pay for some that I do keep.

I like this coin. Not the best at grading but looks VF to me. $16 seems like a good deal. And it suits your purposes. Congrats!

VF-Details, purchased right but I'm not convinced after costs margins would be large enough to flip comfortably.
