I bought this nickel a month ago and imo I think it could've graded ms65. I'm not fully knowledgeable however on grading so can I get some other opinions on it?

If I am not mistaken there are contact marks on the face of the Indian.and it is also not a strong strike if I understand Buffalo nickels correctly. These two things might be the reason it is not graded higher

I doubt there is enough pricing difference between 64 and 65 to warrant another shot at a higher grade.

Many coins will be so close to two different grades that it would
be hard to get 10 different clooectors to agree on the same grade.

Some lean high ... some lean low.

As was posted ... for this coin... the cost would of trying for a upgrade
would not be justified.
Rest in Peace

In my opinion NGC is right on , but the difference is very small.

Beautiful buffalo. I do not think resubmitting this coin would provide any value to you given the cost vs potential value if the next higher grade.

It's a nice solid 64 and wouldn't be worth it to resubmit.

Sell it and buy an MS65, you'll never be happy unless you do that.

Definitely a first-world problem.

Very solid 64. No need to resubmit unless you think it might get a 66 or 7

If you go that route , don't forget; buy the coin ,not the slab .

You would have to get to a MS-66 on a resubmit to make it worth your while. And even in MS-67 the 1937 is the second most common of all the Buffalo, although a 67 would be well worth the resubmit.

As many others have advised the one you have looks like a very sold 64.

I wasn't going to resubmit this coin. I was just wondering if it was a solid 64 or it could've been a 65.

I don't see an up side to resubmitting this coin for grading. Yes, it's got nice luster, but it it's got little marks too. MS-64 is the right grade.
