I found this penny a short time ago,and definitely has a die crack that appears to run into the designers initials that are very faint (actually half the height of the crack),but there.I also noticed that it appears there is a lump on the obverse where the crack is on the reverse. You can see it by the shadow above the 0 on the date.Well here it is. Thanks for looking! Any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Have a good one!

Could be. Get a better closer pic with a lot of light to determine if it is a crack

Does not look like a die crack to me and the FG is covered by what looks like a gas bubble.

So what's your thoughts on the squiggly line? I was 100% sure it was a die crack,But I'm still a greenhorn!

I think it is the copper platting starting to peel.

I went back and cropped the full size photos again, just to hopefully clarify the FG. Most likely it is the coating breaking up.

Kind of looks like something prevented that area to be fully struck. (IE: paper, water, oil, or something else. Not the surface in those areas. Note the color difference.
