They are copies of restrospective patterns. From memory the coins there are from Spinks July 2001 Patina Collection.

The real 1921 square penny patterns are highly sought after and do cost megabucks to acquire one.

I am not into copies, but doubt they are good value for money.

Thanks lim118 as I was watching one of these on ebay just last week. Believe the coin carried the 1921 date and the Spinks July 2001 Patina Collection was mentioned in the auction but the word COPY was not! Believe the coin was actually in Great Britain and I had no idea if it was the real thing or a copy. I have learned something already this morning! Really was a nice looking square coin but I am definitely NOT into copies.

It sounds like something to watch for on ebay as being misrepresented.
