There are very few of them (in comparison to "normal" coins), there are very few collectors, yet the prices are usually up in the stratosphere (as they deserve). I've wanted a few in my year sets, too, but the ones that are in a reasonable price range (according to me) usually have some problems, including circulation. I had a friend who's dad kept a holed Gobrecht dollar as his pocket piece and he passed it onto him when he died. Then it was my friends pocket piece. Report this Post to the Staff
