Hi all,

I'm relatively new to identifying coins but I've been giving it a good go and I think I've been doing pretty well. I've identified around 50 coins of a good range of emperors but I have this coin and I have no idea what it is.

I dnot recognise the emperor at all and I'm just struggling in general with identifying the reverse. I think it has a jug and maybe a lituus.

any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Thanks.

Herennius Etruscus, co-emperor under his father Trajan Decius in 251 before contracting a fatal case of barbarian arrow through the chest.

Thanks Finn235 & antwerpen2306, after checking it up I defiantly agree.

Haha a fatal case of barbarian arrow through the chest. I laughed a little when I really shouldn't have.

I did the same thing: the coin and the emperor both got kinda banged up. At least the portrait is still intact.
