Found this dime for sale online for $10 plus $5 shipping. I know the picture is terrible but is that green dot on coin itself or just from the picture?

The dot is in the middle of his head above his ear. I tried contacting them hoping they'd send more pictures.

Too tough to tell from this pic.

If you want the coin, buy it. That is a very poor picture to go by also, and there may be a reason for it. I personally would look around for another 1996-W Roosevelt dime that I could see what it looked like before I bought it. The 1996-W dimes I have are still in the original mint wrappers they came in and they still look as good as the day I got them.

ICG is not the top three TPG's. Is there a return option? I dought it is a MS68 also. It lists at $98 in true MS68. John1

Save your money and buy a 66 or 67 FT/FB from PCGS or NGC.

The spot appears to be a reflection on the plastic, although that photo is so bad it's impossible to be sure.
The only time I buy ICG is on those very rare occasions when I think the coin will get an equal grade from NGC.
When at shows I typically have to look at hundreds of ICG before I find even one worth cracking.

It is a 1996-W dime. Who would not be happy with that, regardless of the holder?

I just wanted it because it was cheaper than all of the other ones I saw. Even the ones still in the cellophane. And also because I don't have an icg graded coin in my collection yet. They did send me lighter version of the pictures and it looks good enough for me.

If it's good enough for you then that's all that matters. Collect what YOU like and you will always be happy. John1

Received the coin a couple weeks ago and forgot to post pictures. What would you grade it?
