Hello I am new to this, I found this weird looking penny and was wondering if its a possible error or nothing special. pics enclose are poor quality sorry for that in advance, the good looking date is what it should look like the other two is from the penny I found.
That looks like a 1974-S with coin wrapper damage.
Some coin wrappers or some older penny gum ball machines would scrape the surface of the coin and move the devices towards the center leaving them parallel to the rim.
Probably more of an issue with a vending machine/coin counting machine damaging the coin. The damage is parallel to the rim. Too far towards the rim to be coin wrapper damage. So it was mechanical not coin damage from circulation.
