Can someone please tell me if this coin is a mint error or is it just damaged. I'm looking at the date which looks like it was cut off, and the S in the word TRUST, the S looks like an upside down 5, and the E in Liberty looks like an F, some of the letters look like double letters.

I would appreciate your expertise, I'm new and still trying to tell a damaged coin vs. a mint error. I have so much to learn about coins, have to say it's very confusing but...it's fun!! Thank you.

Most likely damage from a coin rolling/counting machine

The line that appears parallel to the perimeter is most likely from an automatic coin roller or counter.
