I got these $2 notes. Is there any value in the orange seal? I know not much for the red. The one with no seal maybe a misprint or something. How much each bills worth?

They all have most likely been chemically altered at some point. Very little value over their face in this condition.

The two are actually both red seals. They are worth $2.25 and $2.50. Can you post a better pic of the 1928 on the bottom?

I need especially the area that says: This note is legal tender for all debts, private and public. A pic of the back of that certain bill would also be useful.

to CCF. The so called orange seal is really a red seal altered, bleach or sunlight will change the color. The last one might be an error. Carefully remove it from the sleeve and take pics front and back please.

The last note has been faded/altered. The seal is still there and there are remnants of the serial numbers. All yellowed.

Welcome to CCF @kmv88.

I agree with the other members. The note with the orange seal & serials, and the note without them appear to be of a spurious nature. Either by accident or on purpose. I sometimes see these on ebay being hawked as error notes to less experienced collectors.

kmv88 - Many PM collectors have mistakenly bought these chemically-altered notes. It's just a learning experience - you are not alone.

$3 a piece. The one without a seal actually does have a seal, but it is faded.
