Near solid is close but not good enough. If you do the math, there are 72 ways of getting "near solid", which is not nearly special enough.

Wow 72 ways .... Got it, but it's a near solid anyway right ? As long as I know if the number repeats excepting by one can be called like that or I'm wrong ? Thanks for the comments !

That type of number I believe would be called a binary since there are only 2 different numbers. A 'true binary' would be all 1's and 0's. Your note does look like it has some issues, but I would put it aside and keep just because I like it.

This may sound strange, but this is exactly the type of note that is needed in order to play liar's poker.
One of the first times out you make a bet of 30 4's when 5 guys are playing, you're challenged and win. Then the next time on of your friends bet 35 4's (when this note is not up in rotation) and then you challenge and he loses.
After that no one knows if you're lying or not and so you win with nothing.
One of the great lessons of life

That note is probably worth at least $10, definately a keeper. As others have stated above, there is a game people play using serial numbers of bills that helps drive demand for near solid notes. A similar higher grade specimen went for $25 here below http://www.ebay.com/itm/2003-1-FRN-...AOSwo4pYGh6s

Nice circulation find @Paola1. A keeper but probably not worth much above face. I'm sure there are collectors out there that like serial #4, and would like to have it. Got this note in 2011 through the BEP. The note was a Lucky Money Year of the Rat or Dog or Rabbit, something like that. All of the Lucky Money notes start with 8888....wish mine ended in 8888.
