Guy offered $400. Let me know if I need better pics. Should I sell? Thanks!

I need better pics. Especially the VDB. It looks counterfeit.

The mint mark location looks correct from the photos provided.

$400.00 is low for a 1909-S VDB in VF, but your coin is raw and it's hard to grade with the images you have posted, so that's just a guess.

In VF condition, slabbed, and problem free, they sell for around $700.00

It looks like your coin has some nicks. To get an accurate answer to your question, you will need to post some better images.

Your images are too bright. Do you have an iPad or iPhone? I find they can take really good pictures of circulated copper.

Looks like you used a bright light. Just use ambient light, and it might look better. Hard to tell if it's real, or problem free.

Need pics and you might want to send off to a TPG before you sell. More money for you

Based on the given pictures, your coin appears to be a Chinese fake.

Free opinion based only on the photos:

Genuine, but pretty beat up (damaged) - both obverse and the reverse.

Yeah, $400 seems like a fair price as is, unless you want to spend $100 to send it in.

Looks like it matches position 4, but I could be wrong, maybe one of the experts will reply.

Looks more like Die #3 to my eye, but must admit I don't see the slightest telltale right-tilt in the MM, which might just be the pic.
