I just picked up 13 nickles from 1932 but I am having trouble telling if any are the far 2 variety. Any help would be appreciated, I have taken a few separate photos of them...
Before you start drawing lines all over, just compare the 9-3 gap with the 3-2 gap. This topic has been covered many times on here. Do a search for the 1932 5 cent piece or "far 2" . .. it will tell you what works and what doesn't.
When it comes down to it if you had a Far 2 you would know it for sure. The difference is large enough to where there is no question, the 2 is so tight to the 3. Here is one I have for example:
Thanks for posting your 13 1932s. Unfortunately, none of them is a far 2. I love looking for far 2s. In 2016 the odds for me of finding a 1932 far 2 has been 1 in 289 or 0.35%. Happy hunting!
